Courageous people know that old ways of doing things shouldn’t stand in the way of a better solution.

About This Quote

When the first settlers arrived on the eastern shores of what is now the United States, they were a bit surprised to find a land full of forest and dangerous animals. In the early days, the settlers were quick to kill any wild animals they came across. They used weapons such as bows and arrows and saws to kill the animals. In the beginning, they killed as many as they could, but this attitude of killing everything soon took a toll on their land.

The land became barren and was unable to produce crops for food. This created a need for innovation and change, which is where brave individuals stepped in. To bring back their homeland from oblivion, these people looked at their old ways of doing things and decided it was time to make a change.

They started from scratch, learning from other cultures how to live peacefully with nature. Today’s society is undergoing a similar change of attitude towards the environment. We are seeing an increase in conservation efforts that are more environmentally friendly than before.
